High temperature foil tape for flue and stove pipe
Where silicone-adhesive foil tape belongs on flue joints and stove installations, its temperature ceiling and the surfaces it will not hold.
Read the articleFoil tape for heat, moisture and vapour: a 5 m kitchen and pipe repair roll for sealing joints on ducts and lines, and a 50 m glass-fibre-cloth reinforced version for duct sealing where the tape has to resist tearing as well as heat.
The foil face reflects radiant heat and blocks vapour, which is why the range is specified on HVAC ducting, pipe insulation and appliance repair rather than general packaging.

The 5 m roll is the general repair format; the 50 m product is reinforced with glass fibre cloth for duct sealing under more handling.
Heat resistance is the listed property of both products; surface temperature at application still governs how well the adhesive wets out.
Foil blocks vapour and reflects heat, but the catalogue does not publish a weather-exposure rating, so we do not claim one.
