Transparent glass fibre tape with reinforcing stripes, used to wrap and fix lithium battery packs. Battery assemblers and electronics workshops need a single-sided tape that holds cells in place and insulates the pack without adding bulk inside the casing, and the clear finish lets inspectors check the cells, tabs and welds underneath.
The tape wraps around cell groups, overlaps on itself and presses down by hand; the glass fibre stripes resist stretch while the clear film insulates. Strips are cut to length from the roll for each pack build, with the overlap pressed down so the wrap stays tight through handling.
