PTFE glass cloth tape for vacuum sealing machines and other hot equipment, where an ordinary plastic backing would soften and fail. The heat resistant surface keeps food and packaging film from sticking, and the tape holds its place on metal jaws and platens through long shifts.
Sealing bars are replaced as maintenance items, so the roll is cut to the width of the jaw and pressed into position. Masking and food preservation work both use the same material, since the cloth face tolerates repeated heating without sticking to the bag being sealed.
